Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning:

o Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with ICCD’s mission and goals.

o Identify growth opportunities in regional and global markets.

o Conduct market analysis to ensure ICCD remains at the forefront of emerging trends.

2. Partnership Development:

o Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including international chambers of commerce, governments, financial institutions, and development organizations.

o Negotiate and formalize strategic partnerships that advance ICCD’s projects and initiatives.

o Represent ICCD at high-level meetings, forums, and events to promote the organization’s mission.

3. Project Development and Management:

o Lead the ideation, design, and execution of initiatives aimed at fostering economic development within the global Muslim community.

o Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, including adherence to timelines and budgets.

o Monitor and evaluate project performance to ensure impact and sustainability.

4. Revenue Generation:

o Identify and secure funding opportunities through grants, sponsorships, and strategic alliances.

o Design and implement innovative revenue streams for ICCD’s programs and services.

o Cultivate relationships with donors, investors, and other funding agencies.

5. Team Leadership:

o Manage a high-performing business development team.

o Foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the department.

o Provide regular updates and reports to the Secretary-General on progress and challenges.

6. Brand Development and Representation:

o Enhance ICCD’s brand visibility and credibility within the international business community.

o Oversee the creation of marketing materials and presentations for outreach purposes.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience:

o Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or a related field, preferably within the Islamic economy or international development sectors.

o Proven track record of leading successful projects and securing funding.

  • Skills and Competencies:

o Strong leadership and organizational skills.

o Excellent negotiation and relationship management capabilities.

o Ability to communicate effectively across diverse cultural and professional contexts.

o Proficiency in market analysis and strategic planning.

o Fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic or other widely spoken languages in the world is an advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 – Rs350,000.00 per month
